BIRTHDAY GREETINGS TO CHARLEAN FEMI
SCOBA CEC felicitates with Charlean Femi Osungbohun today, his birthday. He was born to Mr. Moses Obasanya Osungbohun and Mrs. Elizabeth Bolaji Osungbohun, both accomplished civil servants, from Ilesa and of blessed memory.
*EDUCATION*
Femi's many primary and secondary schools were largely due to his parents' jobs as Civil Servants, first in the Old Western State, later to Oyo State and finally to Osun State.
He attended St. Paul Primary School, Yemetu, Ibadan and St. Michael Catholic Primary School, Akure; Aquinas College Akure, Baptist Boys High School, Abeokuta, St. Charles' Grammar School, Osogbo, where he obtained the WASCE in 1979. His HSC was at Osogbo Grammar School, Osogbo in 1981. He studied International Relations at the University of Ife (now OAU) with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1987.
*WORK/PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE*
Charlean Osungbohun started work with NYSC in 1992, at its Lagos Secretariat. He has worked in other NYSC State Secretariats like Sokoto, Kwara, Ogun and Imo. He is a beneficiary of the various capacity building programmes/Schemes under the auspices of the NYSC.
He is currently an Assistant Director of the Corps and at its Headquarters, Abuja. Notably too, duty tour has taken him to all the states of Nigeria.
He married Mrs. Bamidele Osungbohun in 1992 and the marriage is blessed with a boy, Olumide (a graduate of Agricultural Economics from FUNAAB) and a girl, Toluwalope, rounding up her Pharmacy programme at OOU, Ago-Iwoye. Femi is also a grandfather as Olumide is married with a son.
Charlean Osungbohun's hobbies include listening to old school music, reading, playing Scrabble and listening to news. He also loves football and volleyball, still engages in them but not as active as in the past.
Although he hails from Ilesa, providence has made Abeokuta his home.
Femi's nickname is YAKUTU. He is an introvert and can be very shy.
