EDUCATION
He attended St. Francis Primary School, Ijabe; St. James' Modern School, Osogbo in 1969; St. Charles' Grammar School, 1970 to 1974; University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, 1977 to 1981; University of Ilorin, Ilorin, 1992 to 1994.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
He worked at (1) with Central Bank of Nigeria during his National Youth Service Corps Year as Clerk between 1983 to 1984;
(2) 1984 to 1994;
(3) Professional Associates Limited, 1994 to 2002;
(4) Chief Executive Officer of his own human resource and training outfit, MARKETWATCH INCORPORATED, from 2002 to date.
While in St. Charles', he was a Member of the Literary and Debating Society, the Choir Master and Sacristian Member of the Dramatic Society & Legion of Mary. He won the Chairman's Honours Award during the NYSC 1981/1982 Year.
Membership of Professional Institutions:
1. Institute of Bankers, London (1975);
2. Nigerian Institute for Training and Development and
3. Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.
He was the WORLD CHIEF of the sociocultural club, The Kegites Klub, known to have branches/be situated in all tertiary institutions in Nigeria and beyond but with Headquarters in Unife (now OAU) between 1980 and 1981............(CHEFE...u ar woked).
A very active member of Stanza 704, Charlean (Chief) James Babatunde Oyafemi is happily married and blessed with children.
