  Kunle was born on the 19th of January, 1961 in Ile-Ife, in today's Osun State. He attended: Ansar-Udeen Primary School Isale Agbara Ile – Ife from 1966 to 1968; Muslim Primary School, Ijebu Ode from 1968 to 1969; 

  Muslim Primary School, Oru Ijebu from 1969 to 1970; Methodist Primary School, Agodi, Ibadan from 1970 to 1974; St. Charles' Grammar School, Osogbo, from 1974 to 1979.
