BIRTHDAY GREETINGS TO CHARLEAN RAFIU SOLAGBADE ADIGUN
SCOBA CEC felicitates with Charlean Rafiu Solagbade Adigun, Past Treasurer (SCOBA) and Member, 737 Stanza as he clocks 61 today December 12th.
He was born into the family of Late Alhaji Braimoh Adigun and Late Alhaja Abibat Adigun on December 12, 1959 in Osogbo. Between 1966-1971, he attended St. Claire's Nursery & Primary School, Osogbo. He thereafter proceeded to St. Charles' Grammar School, Osogbo from 1972 to 1977. There, he belonged to the famous Mosquito Football team that went down in history as having defeated St. James' Modern School and St. Mark's Modern School.
He got his Higher School Certificate at Baptist High School, Ede in 1981 and obtained his First Degree (B.A in Linguistics - Yoruba) from the prestigious University of Ibadan in 1986. Between October 1986 and September 1987 he worked at the then Bendel Broadcasting Services, Bendel State (now Edo State) as a National Youth Service Corp member. He was also a teacher at the Bendel Teaching Service Commission between 1987 and 1988. He joined WEMA Bank PLC 1991, where he worked in various departments and branches. He rose from a Clerk to Branch Manager, managed several Branches before his retirement in May 2010.
During his stay at WEMA, he embarked on personal development and acquired more knowledge, obtaining his Masters in Public Administration (Human Resource Management) from the Lagos State University between 1996 and 1997. He went further to obtain his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in 2008 from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye.
While in the service of WEMA Bank, he attended various Managerial courses. Although retired from corporate banking, Sola is not tired. He is currently into farming and merchandising.
An active member of Stanza 737, Charlean Sola Adigun was the Treasurer of SCOBA between 2014 and 2016, he enjoys sports, studying and travelling. He is happily married to Mrs. Abosede Abimbola Adigun (nee Adewuyi) and are both blessed with two girls and two boys.
Charlean Sola Adigun is fondly called EPO by his Stanza members owing to his very light skin & unblemished complexion.
