Charlean Jemilehin's records of leadership and community services show that he was Secretary, Rotary Club, Ogoja (1990-1991) and Director of Community Services, Rotary Club, Ogoja (1991-1992). He is an Auditor and a Life Member, Ilesa Business Consortium, Ilesa. He is also a Patron, Young Farmers Association at St. Charles' Grammar School, Osogbo.
He was until recently, the Coordinator of SCOBA, Kaduna Chapter and currently the Chairman of Stanza 726.
'Rajah' was the Time Keeper at St. Charles' in his 3rd year in school and was the Health Prefect in his final year (Form 5) as he always maintained a very neat/impeccable appearance/presentation.
He was also:
- President, Literary & Debating Society;
- President, Dramatic Society and
- President, Ekiti Student Union.
Although of 'petit' size, he no doubt has good carriage and mental and leadership endowments (what you call in local parlance, 'small body, big engine'). He is by every description, a fine gentleman with an amiable disposition to all and sundry - this gives him clout amongst all strata/demographics - juniors, classmates and seniors.
He got his nickname, RAJAH (meaning, Prince of India) from his perceived love for Indian Films in those days. Charlean Jemilehin is married to Mrs. Abimbola Jemilehin (Retired Controller of Prisons) and they are both blessed with 3 wonderful children.
We join him, his family, Stanza 726, Kaduna Chapter (which he coordinated until recently), Ibadan Chapter (his current base), his friends and associates on this unique/landmark Sapphire Jubilee birthday celebration. We wish him many happy returns of the day in good health, prosperity and long life.
Happy birthday, Sir!
Humility! Humilitas!!
