• CONGRATULATIONS TO AN ENGINEERING DIRECTOR, DR OLUWAOYIN KADIRI.

   

  The Central Executive Council of SCOBA congratulates our dear Charlean (Dr.) Kamoru Oluwatoyin Kadiri, a Chief Lecturer at The Federal Polytechnic, Offa, who has now been appointed by the institution's Rector as its Director, Directorate of Affiliate Programmes, effective October 13, 2020.

   

  Dr. Kadiri attended St. Charles' between 1980 and 1985. Thereafter, he attended The Polytechnic, Ibadan, OAU, Ile-Ife and Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo for a Diploma, degree and higher degrees respectively, culminating in a Ph.D in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, with specialization in Networking & Communication.

   

  A Registered Engineer, Member and Fellow of many Certified Engineering bodies, this outstanding academic, who on 2 occasions won 2 research grants from TETFUND and Clintonnel Innovation Centre, has several accomplishments and contributions to the body of knowledge and research. They include:

   

  - research work in 45 published journals;

  - 17 published & refereed conference proceedings;

  - 25 seminar papers;

  - 20 personally authored textbooks in different fields of engineering;

  - 2 patented inventions and 

  - 11 literary works with Copyright Commission of Nigeria.

   

  The CEC notes and appreciates Charlean (Dr.) Kadiri as a very sound and deeply knowledgeable resource person at SCOBA's events with academic slants, particularly its 'Back To The Programme'.

   

  He is also a very active, financial member of Stanza 805 and the Vice Chairman of Home Branch.

   

  Charlean (Dr.) Kamoru Oluwatoyin Kadiri is happily married with children.
