  As he marks another year, SCOBA CEC celebrates with this unique Charlean, Baba Rabb Adebiyi (1971 Set).

   

  A Pharmacist, a great thinker with a very deep linguistic power, in English and native Yoruba, calm in disposition and conduct, you can't miss Baba Rabb in a crowd. 

   

  At the 2014 when I first met him, he sat quite a distance away from me. But he nonetheless attracted me when he spoke with deep mastery of Yoruba. His first salvo was, 'Ka mu eyin s'otun, ka mu eyin s'osi, ka wa fi eyin rin lati Iyin Ekiti lo si Iseyin, eniti o ni yini, o ni yini, meaning no matter how hard you try or make effort in any given assignment or enterprise, some people will still not appreciate you.  

   

  He represents the old bloc of the association but he easily and conveniently blends with the younger members, going by the seamless interactive engagements he constantly has with them on the SCOBA platform.

   

  He is a regular face, with very useful inputs, at SCOBA events. He is also an unofficial custodian of the association's red lines aimed at making members conduct themselves properly and conform to laid down rules & regulations of the communication channel.

   

  Congratulations, Baba Rabb. Igba odun, odun kan ni o. The entire Charlean family wishes you many happy returns of the day.
