Distinguished Charleans,
As we stand on the threshold of a brand new year, I extend heartfelt New Year greetings to each one of you on behalf of SCOBA. Today, on the 1st of January 2024, we embark on a journey filled with hope, determination, and a shared vision to elevate the legacy of St. Charles Grammar School.
A big thank you to those who paid their annual dues last year; may God replenish your generosity. We kindly appeal to all Stanzas to collect and remit their 2024 annual dues by *February 29, 2024.* Your timely contributions will greatly assist us in preparations for the upcoming Biennial Convention scheduled from June 3 to 9, 2024
Furthermore, in the spirit of fresh beginnings, let's embrace the opportunities that the new year brings and channel our collective energy towards a transformative cause— *the establishment of the SCOBA Endowment Fund.* This fund, envisioned to be a beacon of financial stability and long-term protection, holds the potential to shape the future of our alma mater in profound ways.
We achieve this through working closely with all stakeholders, gaining a thorough understanding of the objectives for the training and then carefully tailoring the training content to fit. The quality of our content is matched by that of our exceptional trainers who combine impressive professional experience with effective training styles. Our prime business objective is to be the preferred training choice for all of the companies and Ministries that work with us and we realise this by delivering exceptional training coupled with dedicated account management. Our continuous growth over the last ten years and our market leading renewal rate are the best indicators of our success in achieving this goal
At this pivotal juncture in our alma mater's journey, we extend a passionate call to action. St. Charles Grammar School, Osogbo, has reached a point where intentional enhancements and interventions are needed. This involves exploring opportunities to upgrade infrastructure, seeking alternative funding avenues, and providing support for our current students facing financial challenges. Your involvement in this endeavor is crucial and would be greatly appreciated.
Over the years, the St. Charles Old Boys Association (SCOBA) has initiated numerous projects and received generous donations. However, sustainability remains a challenge, often relying on project-specific fundraising or exhaustive financial drives or individuals and Stanza taking up projects at their descretion. It is with this in mind that we introduce the SCOBA Endowment Fund.
Once again, happy and memorable new year
Humilitas!
